About the International Society for Homeland Security Professionals | |
The International Society of Homeland Security Professionals (ISHSP) is the recognized organization for Homeland Security Professionals, whose members are spread throughout the world. The National Domestic Preparedness Coalition (NDPCI) in partnership with the National Sheriffs’ Association (NSA), both non-profit organizations with homeland security functions, recognized the need for Homeland Security Professionals to have their own Professional organization. The NDPCI and NSA combined resources to enable the establishment of the International Society of Homeland Security Professionals (ISHSP). By establishing this joint membership organization the NDPCI and NSA have dedicated their resources to help increase the effectiveness and productivity of Homeland Security Professionals by providing resources, forums, educational programs and materials that address Homeland Security issues. | ![]() |
